QA Technician / QA Engineer (Electrical / Construction)

Job Description

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented QA Technician / QA Engineer to join our team in the electrical and construction industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting quality inspections, ensuring compliance with project specifications and safety standards, and maintaining quality documentation throughout the project.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct quality inspections and testing for electrical works and construction activities.
• Ensure all works comply with project specifications, drawings, approved materials, and relevant standards.
• Prepare and maintain QA/QC documentation, inspection reports, checklists, and test records.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, site supervisors, subcontractors, and consultants on quality matters.
• Identify and report non-conformities, defects, and workmanship issues, and follow up on corrective actions.
• Assist in site inspections, testing and commissioning, and quality audits.
• Ensure proper implementation of quality control procedures on site.
• Monitor work progress to ensure quality requirements are met before handover.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the management.

Requirements

• Diploma or relevant qualification in Electrical Engineering, Construction, or a related field.
• Experience in QA/QC within the electrical or construction industry is preferred.
• Familiarity with electrical installations, construction drawings, inspection procedures, and quality documentation.
• Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Meticulous, responsible, and able to work independently as well as in a team.
• Fresh graduates may be considered for the QA Technician position.

Working Schedule

• 5.5 working days per week
• Work location: Project site / Office, as required.
