Role: QA Engineer Mobile Testing (Manual + Automation)

Key Responsibilities

1. Manual Testing

Functional Testing

• Verify new feature implementations on Android and iOS.
• Execute smoke, sanity, regression, and UAT test cycles.
• Validate feature behavior against business requirements.
• Perform exploratory testing for edge cases.

Cross Device Testing

Bug Reporting

Create detailed bug reports including:

• Summary
• Steps to Reproduce
• Expected Result
• Actual Result
• Device Information
• OS Version
• Screenshots
• Screen Recordings
• Log Attachments

2. Automation Testing

Framework Ownership

Required Skills

Must Have

• 2+ years of Android and iOS mobile testing experience.
• Experience testing React Native applications.
• Strong understanding of mobile release processes.
• Hands-on experience with Detox, Appium, Espresso, or XCUITest.
• Experience with Firebase services.
• Push notification testing experience.
• Payment gateway testing experience (Razorpay preferred).
• API testing using Postman.
• Debugging using:
• ADB
• Logcat
• Xcode Console
• Strong bug reporting and documentation skills.

Nice to Have

• Fastlane experience.
• Bitrise CI/CD experience.
• CleverTap analytics validation.
• Financial/Trading domain experience.
• Understanding of SEBI-regulated products.
• Basic JavaScript/TypeScript knowledge.
• Experience reading React Native logs.

Release Sign-Off

Responsible for final QA approval before:

• Android Production Release
• iOS App Store Release

Regression Ownership

• Maintain regression test suite.
• Ensure critical flows remain stable.

Automation Ownership

• Grow automation coverage.
• Reduce manual testing effort.
