QA Tester / Automation Enginee

Role Description This is a part-time, remote role for a QA Tester / Automation Engineer at Rheação Soluções em RH. The professional in this role will design, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases to validate software functionality, performance, and reliability. Daily activities include reviewing requirements and specifications, creating detailed test plans, executing tests, documenting results, and collaborating with development and product teams to identify and resolve defects. The role also involves contributing to test automation frameworks, optimizing test coverage, and continuously improving QA processes and standards. The individual will be expected to manage priorities independently, communicate clearly with distributed team members, and ensure that deliverables meet agreed quality criteria and timelines.

Qualifications

• Strong Quality Assurance foundation with experience in Manual Testing and executing Test Cases to verify functionality and usability.
• Proficiency in Test Execution processes, including planning, running, and documenting tests across different environments.
• Demonstrated Analytical Skills for identifying defects, interpreting test results, and providing clear, evidence-based feedback to technical teams.
• Experience designing and maintaining automated tests and working with common test automation frameworks and tools.
• Familiarity with software development lifecycles, version control systems, and issue-tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Git).
• Ability to work effectively in a remote, part-time setup, with strong time management, organization, and communication skills.
• Relevant education in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in HR-related or business applications is an advantage, as well as knowledge of best practices in continuous integration and continuous testing.
