About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive QA Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, functionality, performance, and reliability of our web and software applications through effective testing processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business and technical requirements to understand application functionality.
• Create and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test plans.
• Perform Functional, Regression, Integration, System, and Smoke Testing.
• Identify, document, and track bugs using bug-tracking tools.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other team members to resolve defects.
• Perform UI, usability, and cross-browser testing for web applications.
• Conduct API testing using tools such as Postman.
• Retest resolved issues and perform regression testing before releases.
• Maintain proper documentation of test results, defects, and testing activities.
• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and other Agile/Scrum activities.
• Ensure software meets defined quality standards before deployment.
• Continuously improve testing processes and contribute to overall product quality.

Required Skills

• 1–3 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance / Testing.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC.
• Good knowledge of Manual Testing concepts and methodologies.
• Experience in writing detailed test cases and test scenarios.
• Hands-on experience with JIRA or similar bug-tracking tools.
• Basic to good knowledge of API Testing using Postman.
• Understanding of SQL/database testing is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodology.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify edge cases.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.

Good to Have

• Basic knowledge of Automation Testing using Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar tools.
• Familiarity with performance testing tools.
• Basic understanding of Git/version control.
• Experience testing web and mobile applications.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
