QA Tester

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Perform manual testing of web applications, software products, CRM systems, and business applications.
• Understand business requirements, functional specifications, and project workflows before starting testing.
• Execute functional testing, regression testing, smoke testing, sanity testing, integration testing, and exploratory testing.
• Validate user interfaces, forms, buttons, menus, navigation, field validations, and business logic.
• Test applications across different browsers, devices, and screen sizes where applicable.
• Verify that all features work as expected and meet the defined acceptance criteria.

Test Case Preparation and Execution

• Prepare test scenarios, test cases, checklists, and test data based on project requirements.
• Create positive and negative test cases to cover normal and exceptional situations.
• Execute test cases systematically and maintain accurate testing records.
• Identify missing requirements, unclear workflows, and potential risk areas before testing.
• Ensure that all critical features and business workflows are covered before release.

Bug Identification and Reporting

• Identify, reproduce, document, and report software bugs and defects.
• Maintain a clear bug report with steps to reproduce, expected results, actual results, screenshots, and relevant evidence.
• Assign appropriate severity and priority based on the impact of the defect.
• Coordinate with developers to clarify issues and support timely resolution.
• Retest resolved defects and perform regression testing to ensure existing functionality is not affected.
• Maintain a record of open, resolved, rejected, and reopened defects.

CRM and Business Workflow Testing

• Test lead capture from websites, landing pages, social media platforms, and other integrated channels.
• Validate lead assignment, user permissions, follow-up reminders, notifications, and sales pipeline workflows.
• Test WhatsApp automation workflows, message templates, delivery status, and scheduled messages where applicable.
• Verify appointment booking, reminders, customer notifications, and project status updates.
• Test customer onboarding, invoice-related workflows, payment reminders, and feedback or review collection processes.
• Validate integrations with third-party platforms and ensure that data is transferred accurately.

Documentation and Reporting

• Prepare test plans, test cases, bug reports, test execution reports, and release testing summaries.
• Maintain proper documentation of testing activities and results for every assigned project.
• Share daily QA progress reports with the reporting manager.
• Highlight critical defects, testing delays, dependencies, and release risks immediately.
• Ensure all testing evidence and project QA documents are organized and updated.

Team Collaboration and Release Validation

• Work closely with developers, business analysts, project managers, and the service delivery team.
• Participate in requirement discussions, project kickoff meetings, and workflow reviews.
• Clarify functional requirements before testing begins.
• Validate fixes and confirm that issues are resolved before marking them as closed.
• Perform final QA validation before client demonstrations, user acceptance testing (UAT), or production releases.
• Ensure that critical and high-priority defects are resolved or formally approved before release.

Quality Improvement

• Identify recurring defects and recommend improvements to development and testing processes.
• Maintain a quality-first approach and avoid approving features without sufficient testing.
• Follow the company's QA standards, testing checklists, and release procedures.
• Continuously improve testing techniques, product knowledge, and understanding of business workflows.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
