QA Tester – Game Testing

Job Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented QA tester with hands-on experience in game testing to ensure our games meet high standards of quality, performance, gameplay, and user experience. The candidate will be responsible for identifying bugs, testing game mechanics, evaluating UI/UX quality, preparing test cases, and verifying that all issues are resolved before release.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform functional, gameplay, UI/UX, and regression testing of games.
• Identify, reproduce, document, and report bugs, glitches, crashes, and gameplay issues.
• Test game mechanics, controls, animations, character movements, collision detection, and game rules.
• Verify UI elements, buttons, menus, pop-ups, layouts, text, and visual consistency.
• Check game quality, responsiveness, performance, and overall player experience.
• Create detailed test cases, test scenarios, and test plans for different game features.
• Perform multiplayer testing, including matchmaking, synchronization, and connectivity, where applicable.
• Retest fixed bugs and perform regression testing to ensure existing features work correctly.
• Maintain bug reports and track issues using tools such as Jira or similar platforms.
• Collaborate with developers and the design team to improve game quality before release.

Required Skills

• 1–3 years of experience in game testing and QA.
• Strong understanding of game testing methodologies and bug identification.
• Experience in writing test cases, test scenarios, and test reports.
• Good knowledge of UI testing, gameplay testing, functional testing, and regression testing.
• Ability to identify visual inconsistencies, gameplay issues, and quality defects.
• Experience with bug-tracking tools such as Jira.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and the ability to test games systematically.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience testing mobile, PC, or 3D multiplayer games.
• Understanding of performance testing, compatibility testing, and network-related issues.
• Ability to provide clear steps to reproduce bugs, supported by screenshots or video recordings.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
