QAQC C&S Engineer

Key Responsibilities | 岗位核心职责

• Quality Assurance & Plan Implementation (质量体系与方案推行)
• Formulate, review, and execute project-specific Quality Assurance & Quality Control (QA/QC) plans, Method Statements (MOS), and Inspection & Test Plans (ITP) for civil and structural works.
• Coordinate and conduct joint site inspections (Work Inspection Requests - WIR) with client representatives, resident consultants, and local authorities.
• Technical & Process Quality Control (土建与结构工艺全过程把控)
• Strictly inspect and supervise critical DC civil works: deep foundation, heavy-duty/superflat flooring (FF/FL standards), structural waterproof/anti-seepage systems, seismic bracings, and precise MEP service penetrations.
• Supervise concrete pouring procedures, including temperature tracking for mass concrete, slump tests, and laboratory cube testing protocols.
• Defect & NCR Management (质量缺陷与整改闭环)
• Issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) and Site Observation Reports (SOR) for substandard construction; follow up on root-cause analysis, corrective actions (CAPA), and official closeouts.
• Minimize rework, maintain zero-defect standards for clean areas (White Space), and prepare comprehensive quality hand-over dossiers.
• Material & Subcontractor Compliance (材料进场与分包质检核验)
• Conduct Incoming Material Inspections (MCI) to ensure materials meet approved technical specifications, factory test certificates, and local statutory standards.
• Supervise and evaluate subcontractor quality performance, leading tool-box quality talks and quality alignment meetings.

Requirements & Qualifications | 任职资格与硬性条件

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related technical disciplines.
• Experience:
• Minimum 3–5 years of practical on-site QA/QC experience in civil & structural construction.
• Proven track record in Data Center, Industrial Plant, Cleanroom, or Grade-A commercial projects is strongly preferred.
• Certifications: Valid CIDB Green Card is mandatory; QA/QC certification (ISO 9001 internal auditor, CSWIP, or equivalent) is an added advantage.
• Technical Competence:
• Deep understanding of local building codes (UBBL, MS, Eurocodes, ASTM/BS standards) and quality benchmarks (CONQUAS / QLASSIC).
• Proficient in reading complex civil/structural engineering drawings and coordination shop drawings (AutoCAD / BIM Navisworks knowledge is preferred).
• Communication & Adaptability:
• Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia (to coordinate effectively with local consultants and subcontractors).
• Working proficiency in Mandarin is an added advantage for seamless collaboration with CCCC headquarter engineering documentation and management teams.
• Able to adapt to project site schedules and fast-track construction tempos.
