Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of civil construction works, including foundations, structural elements, earthworks, and finishing operations
• Verify that all materials, equipment, and labour utilised on-site meet the specified standards and requirements
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive quality control documentation, test reports, and inspection records
• Perform or coordinate testing activities such as concrete strength tests, soil compaction tests, and material sampling
• Identify non-conformities and defects, documenting them clearly and recommending corrective actions
• Monitor and ensure compliance with approved construction plans, specifications, and industry standards
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to resolve quality issues and implement improvements
• Conduct daily and weekly site inspections and maintain detailed records of findings
• Participate in pre-construction meetings and quality planning sessions
• Communicate quality concerns and progress reports to project management and stakeholders
• Assist in training site personnel on quality standards and procedures

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering

• Proven experience in quality assurance and quality control within civil construction projects

• Strong knowledge of civil engineering works, including concrete, structural, earthworks, and finishing operations

• Familiarity with relevant Philippine construction standards, building codes, and regulations

• Proficiency in interpreting construction plans, specifications, and technical documents

• Experience with construction testing and inspection procedures

• Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with diverse stakeholders

• Certification in quality management systems or construction quality standards is preferred
