QAQC

About the role

This is a Quality Assurance and Quality Control role focused on M&E installations. You will implement and maintain project QAQC plans, procedures, and inspection requirements, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 Quality Management System and VCE quality standards. You will conduct inspections of M&E installations, verify materials and equipment, and ensure all installations comply with client requirements, IEC standards, manufacturer's recommendations, and good engineering practices.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and maintain project QAQC plans, procedures, and inspection requirements
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 Quality Management System and VCE quality standards
• Review project specifications, drawings, method statements, and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs)
• Conduct quality briefings and awareness sessions for project teams and subcontractors
• Monitor compliance with approved construction and installation methodologies
• Perform inspections of M&E installations including LV Power Distribution Systems, Switchboards and MCCs, UPS Systems, Busduct Systems, Power and Control Cables, and Earthing & Lightning Protection Systems
• Verify materials and equipment delivered to site meet approved specifications
• Conduct and witness inspections, testing, and commissioning activities
• Maintain QAQC records, inspection reports, test reports, and quality registers
• Investigate quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions

About you

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline
• Minimum 3 years of QAQC experience in M&E construction, data centre, industrial, or critical infrastructure projects
• Experience with electrical systems, testing & commissioning, and quality documentation
• Familiarity with consultant, client, and authority inspections
• Knowledge of IEC, BS, IEEE, and relevant Malaysian standards
• Strong understanding of M&E installation practices and testing procedures
• Proficient in QAQC documentation management
• Good understanding of engineering drawings and specifications
• Strong attention to detail and excellent documentation and report-writing skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and QAQC tracking tools
