QA/QC Engineer - Civil Contracting

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented QA/QC Engineer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing and monitoring quality assurance and quality control procedures to ensure that all construction activities comply with approved drawings, project specifications, applicable codes, and quality standards.

Candidates with experience in high-rise buildings, residential and commercial developments, or large-scale civil construction projects are preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain project Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) procedures and plans.
• Ensure construction activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, applicable codes, and project quality requirements.
• Conduct regular site inspections and monitor the quality of civil, structural, and finishing works.
• Review Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements, Material Submittals, and other quality-related documents.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and project teams for inspections and approvals.
• Prepare and maintain inspection requests, quality reports, checklists, and test records.
• Identify non-conformities, issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
• Monitor material testing, laboratory results, and compliance with approved specifications.
• Ensure proper implementation of project quality standards and procedures.
• Participate in quality audits, site meetings, and project handover activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• 5–8 years of relevant QA/QC experience in the construction industry.
• Experience in high-rise, residential, commercial, or large-scale civil construction projects is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of construction quality standards, inspection procedures, and technical documentation.
• Experience with ITPs, Method Statements, NCRs, and material approvals.
• Good communication, coordination, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively with consultants, contractors, and multidisciplinary project teams.

Pay: AED7,000.00 - AED9,000.00 per month
