QA/QC Engineer

PhilAsia Resources & Development Corporation, a growing construction and engineering company based in Cebu, is looking for a detail-oriented and results-driven QA/QC Engineer to ensure that all construction activities and materials comply with project specifications, quality standards, and applicable regulations. The company operates in the construction and engineering industry and is involved in various infrastructure and development projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) procedures and plans.
• Conduct inspections of construction works, materials, and equipment to ensure compliance with approved plans and specifications.
• Prepare, review, and maintain quality-related documentation, reports, and records.
• Coordinate with project engineers, site supervisors, consultants, and subcontractors regarding quality concerns.
• Monitor testing activities and ensure proper documentation of test results.
• Identify non-conformities and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure compliance with company quality standards, client requirements, and government regulations.
• Participate in project meetings and provide updates on quality-related matters.
• Conduct site audits and quality inspections throughout project implementation.
• Assist in project turnover and final quality acceptance activities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related engineering field.
• Licensed Civil Engineer is preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience in QA/QC, construction quality management, or related field.
• Knowledge of construction standards, materials testing, and quality control procedures.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and engineering documentation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
• Willing to be assigned to project sites within Cebu and nearby areas.
