About the role
Conduct QA/QC inspections for piping fabrication and installation works, ensuring all works comply with project specifications, drawings, codes and standards.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct QA/QC inspections for piping fabrication and installation works
- Ensure all works comply with project specifications, drawings, codes and standards
- Review and maintain QA/QC documentation, inspection reports and quality records
- Coordinate inspection activities with clients, contractors and project teams
- Monitor welding and piping activities to ensure quality requirements are met
- Identify non-conformances and follow up on corrective actions
About you
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Oil & Gas (Refinery, Cracker and Petrochemical industry)
- Possess valid CSWIP 3.1 Welding Inspector certification
- Experience working on PRefChem projects will be an added advantage
- Good knowledge of piping, welding inspection and QA/QC procedures
- Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Willing to work at project/site locations
