QAQC Engineer

Job Responsibilities

• Conducting quality control inspections of receiving incoming raw materials and parts/components.
• Maintain Project Quality Document, Drawing and Specification.
• Directs and manages the daily activities of the site work.
• Material testing and witness all material QC inspection.
• Review quality of all materials at the site and ensure compliance with all project specifications and collaborate with the department for all material procurement and maintain the quality of materials.
• Analyze all products and non-conformance processes and evaluate all documents to ensure the maintenance of optimal quality and prepare reports to evaluate performance.
• Oversee supervision of all visual inspections, including 3rd party sub-contractors.
• Managing inspection, and testing plans for new construction.
• Assist QAQC Manager / Project Manager in establishing the Project Quality Plan (PQP).
• Assist QAQC Manager / Project Manager in liaising with certification body on matter relating on certification of the system.
• Coordinate with the consultant’s representative and Site In-charge for inspection.
• Report to the QAQC Manager / Project Manager, control and monitor all activities related to Quality.
• Undertake other related jobs from time to time as directed by the QAQC Manager / Project Manager and Directors.

Job Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma or Degree in Construction and Civil Engineering or its equivalent.
• Must be a CIDB green card holder.
• Minimum five (5) years working experience in Project Construction, in similar position or related working experience.
• Preferably candidates with extension working experience in construction management, development professional, highly competent to resolve all construction issues for fast-track projects.
• In-depth understanding of construction procedures, technical and project management principles.
• Good leadership and interpersonal skill to communicate with other team members.
• Self-motivated, able to work under pressure, multitask, problem solving skills, independent and able to meet tight deadlines.
• Understanding of site safety plan and safety activities operation flow.
• Proficiency in English and Malay and computer literate.
