QAQC Engineer

• Implement and monitor QA/QC procedures and the project Quality Management Plan.
• Conduct inspections for reclamation, earthworks, filling, compaction, and related activities.
• Ensure construction works comply with approved drawings, specifications, and standards.
• Inspect and verify the quality of materials delivered to site.
• Prepare Inspection Requests (IR), Material Inspection Requests (MIR), checklists, and QA/QC reports.
• Coordinate and monitor required laboratory and field testing.
• Review test results and ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Identify and address non-conforming works and materials, including preparation of NCRs.
• Maintain complete and organized QA/QC records and documentation.
• Coordinate with the project team, consultants, client, contractors, and testing laboratories on quality matters.
• Participate in site inspections and quality meetings.
• Ensure completed works are properly inspected, documented, and accepted.
• Ensure compliance with applicable standards, project specifications, and company quality policies.
• Perform other QA/QC duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Preferably a Licensed Civil Engineer.
• With experience in QA/QC for civil, marine, reclamation, earthworks, infrastructure, or large-scale construction projects.
• Experience in land reclamation, dredging, soil improvement, or earthworks is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of construction materials, soil testing, compaction, field density testing, and laboratory testing procedures.
• Familiarity with project specifications, construction drawings, inspection procedures, and quality documentation.
• Good understanding of QA/QC systems and construction quality standards.
• Proficient in preparing reports, inspection documents, and other technical documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and good problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Willing to work on-site in Pasay City and under project-based conditions.
