QA/QC Engineer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a QA/QC Engineer with relevant experience in one or more of the following areas: transportation trailers and tankers, structural steel fabrication, pipelines, pressure vessels, or storage tanks.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct quality inspections throughout fabrication, welding, assembly, and final inspection activities.
• Inspection of raw materials, fit-up, welding, dimension, painting/coating, and final products.
• Review drawings, specifications, ITPs, procedures, and applicable quality standards.
• Monitor welding and fabrication activities for compliance with approved procedures.
• Coordinate with Production, Engineering, and Project teams to resolve quality issues.
• Prepare and maintain inspection reports, checklists, NCRs, and quality records.
• Follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
• Conduct final inspection and ensure products meet required quality standards before release / dispatch.
• Support internal and external quality audits.

Requirements

• Bachelor's/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or relevant technical qualification.
• 2–3 years of relevant QA/QC experience in in any one of the above-mentioned products/industries is acceptable; experience in multiple areas will be an advantage.
• Good knowledge of welding, fabrication, dimension inspection, and material inspection.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and welding symbols.
• CSWIP and ASNT Level II certification preferred.
• Good documentation, reporting, communication, and coordination skills.
• UAE/GCC experience will be an advantage.

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
