QA/QC Engineer

Key Responsibilities1. Material Inspection and Testing

• Inspect incoming raw materials (aggregates, asphalt, cement, structural steel, rebar, and concrete additives) before site use.
• Supervise and conduct field and laboratory tests, including soil compaction (density tests), asphalt core testing, and concrete slump tests.
• Reject substandard materials or expired components and log them immediately.

2. Bridge and Road Execution Oversight

• Verify setting out, gridlines, levels, and alignments for bridge piers, abutments, pile caps, and deck slabs.
• Check rebar placement, spacing, size, and concrete cover blocks prior to structural pouring.
• Monitor road subgrade, subbase, base course layers, and asphalt or concrete pavement thickness and smoothness.
• Oversee post-concreting and paving procedures, including proper curing methods and joint sealing.

3. Compliance and Documentation

• Implement the Project Quality Plan (PQP) and Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
• Issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) for any deviations from standard codes or blueprints.
• Maintain comprehensive quality logs, material submittals, test certificate files, and calibration records.
• Prepare punch lists for incomplete or defective items and track their rectification and closure prior to final handover.

Pay: Php19,000.00 - Php50,000.00 per month
