Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure quality standards are maintained throughout construction activities.
• Conduct inspections of civil, structural, and finishing works at the project site.
• Ensure construction work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Inspect incoming construction materials and verify quality/test certificates.
• Conduct and maintain records of concrete, steel, cement, aggregate, and other material tests.
• Monitor RCC works including reinforcement, shuttering, concreting, and curing.
• Check workmanship and identify quality deviations or non-conformities.
• Prepare Inspection Requests (IR), Checklists, NCRs, and Quality Reports.
• Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, consultants, and vendors to resolve quality-related issues.
• Ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented and properly documented.
• Maintain project quality documentation, test reports, inspection records, and approvals.
• Assist in conducting site audits and quality inspections.
• Ensure construction activities comply with applicable IS Codes, project specifications, and safety requirements.
• Prepare daily/weekly quality reports and submit updates to management.

Required Skills

• Good knowledge of Civil & Structural Construction QA/QC procedures.
• Knowledge of RCC, masonry, plastering, waterproofing, flooring, and finishing works.
• Understanding of IS Codes and construction specifications.
• Experience in preparing inspection checklists, IRs, NCRs, and quality documentation.
• Good knowledge of construction materials and testing procedures.
• Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD is preferred.

Qualification

• B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Civil Engineering
• 2+ years of relevant experience in Construction QA/QC.
