QA/QC Engineer

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Registered Civil Engineer (RCE) is an advantage.
• At least 2–3 years of experience in QA/QC, construction quality control, or site engineering.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, inspection procedures, and quality standards.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Knowledge of QA/QC documentation, including inspection checklists, testing procedures, and Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
• Strong attention to detail, documentation, and analytical skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills for working with contractors, suppliers, engineers, and project teams.
• Proficient in MS Office and preferably familiar with relevant construction/project management software.
• Willing to work on-site and conduct regular site inspections.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure that construction activities, materials, and completed works comply with approved plans, specifications, quality standards, and project requirements.
• Conduct regular site inspections and monitor workmanship, construction processes, and material quality.
• Review approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and other technical documents to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Prepare and maintain QA/QC documentation, including inspection reports, checklists, testing records, and quality-related reports.
• Identify non-conformities (NCRs) and coordinate appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
• Coordinate with Site Engineers, contractors, suppliers, and other project personnel regarding quality concerns and required corrective actions.
• Assist in material inspections, testing, and verification to ensure compliance with required standards.
• Monitor compliance with applicable construction quality and safety standards.
• Prepare quality reports and documentation required for project monitoring and turnover.
