QA/QC Engineer – Job Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the project Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) Plan.
• Ensure that construction works comply with approved plans, specifications, standards, and project requirements.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor the quality of materials, workmanship, and construction activities.
• Inspect and verify incoming materials to ensure compliance with approved specifications and standards.
• Prepare and maintain Inspection and Test Plans (ITP), checklists, inspection requests, and quality records.
• Coordinate with the Project Engineer, Site Engineer, Foreman, subcontractors, and other concerned personnel regarding quality issues.
• Monitor and witness required testing and inspections of construction materials and completed works.
• Identify, document, and report non-conforming works or materials and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
• Prepare Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and monitor the implementation and closure of corrective actions.
• Ensure that all required quality documentation, inspection reports, test results, and records are properly maintained and updated.
• Review shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and other technical documents for quality compliance.
• Conduct quality audits and inspections at the project site.
• Assist in investigating the causes of quality problems and recommend preventive measures.
• Ensure that corrective and preventive actions are properly implemented.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers regarding quality-related concerns and inspections.
• Monitor the quality performance of subcontractors and suppliers.
• Ensure that construction activities are properly documented through inspection reports, photographs, test reports, and other supporting documents.
• Assist in preparing as-built documentation and project quality dossiers upon project completion.
• Promote compliance with the company’s Quality Management System (QMS) and ISO 9001 requirements.
• Perform other duties related to quality assurance and quality control as may be assigned by Management or the Project Manager.

QA/QC Engineer – Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering field.
• Preferably a Licensed Civil Engineer (RCE).
• With experience in QA/QC in construction projects is preferred.
• Knowledgeable in construction methods, materials, specifications, and quality control procedures.
• Familiar with QA/QC documentation, inspection procedures, ITPs, NCRs, and testing requirements.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management System is an advantage.
• Able to read and interpret plans, specifications, drawings, and technical documents.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel.
• Knowledge in AutoCAD is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify construction defects and quality issues.
• Good communication, coordination, and documentation skills.
• Able to work effectively with project teams, subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and clients.
• Willing to conduct regular site inspections and field work.
• Willing to be assigned to project sites as required.
• Must be responsible, organized, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and inspect construction activities and materials for compliance with approved plans and specifications.

• Conduct site inspections and coordinate required testing.
• Identify quality issues and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Coordinate with engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and clients regarding quality concerns.
• Maintain complete and accurate project quality records.
• Ensure compliance with company QMS, project specifications, and applicable standards.

Pay: Php18,000.00 - Php25,000.00 per month
