QAQC Engineer

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive QAQC Engineer to oversee quality assurance and quality control activities for our construction and IT infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will ensure that project works comply with approved drawings, technical specifications, quality standards and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain project Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QAQC) procedures, inspection plans and documentation.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure that installation and construction works comply with approved drawings, specifications, method statements and applicable standards.
• Prepare, review and maintain Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), Inspection and Test Records, checklists and other quality-related documents.
• Coordinate inspections and testing activities with Project Managers, Engineers, subcontractors, consultants and clients.
• Identify, document and follow up on non-conformities, defects and quality issues, including corrective and preventive actions.
• Monitor the quality of materials, equipment, workmanship and installation activities.
• Ensure proper documentation and traceability of inspection records, test reports, material approvals and quality-related submissions.
• Participate in internal and external quality audits and assist in closing audit findings.
• Prepare quality reports and ensure timely submission of required QAQC documentation.
• Ensure compliance with applicable project specifications, company procedures and relevant ISO quality management requirements.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• Relevant experience in QAQC within construction, engineering, ELV, ICT infrastructure or MEP projects will be an advantage.
• Knowledge of QAQC procedures, inspection processes, quality documentation and non-conformance management.
• Familiarity with technical drawings, method statements, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and testing records.
• Good communication, coordination, documentation and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and coordinate effectively with project teams and site personnel.
• Willingness to travel to project sites when required.

Added Advantage: Candidates with previous experience handling Data Centre projects, particularly in quality assurance, installation inspections, testing documentation and project handover, will have an added advantage.
