QA/QC Engineer

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced QA/QC Engineer to ensure that all project activities, materials, and workmanship comply with approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards, and applicable regulations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing quality control procedures, conducting inspections, preparing documentation, and coordinating with project teams to maintain the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain the project Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) procedures.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Prepare and review Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements, and quality documentation.
• Coordinate inspections with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and project teams.
• Monitor material quality and verify compliance with approved material submittals.
• Identify non-conformities and prepare Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
• Follow up on corrective and preventive actions to ensure timely closure of quality issues.
• Maintain inspection reports, test records, checklists, and quality files.
• Ensure compliance with applicable industry standards, safety requirements, and project specifications.
• Support internal and external quality audits.
• Prepare regular quality reports and recommend improvements to prevent recurring defects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, depending on project requirements.
• Relevant experience in QA/QC engineering.
• Knowledge of quality management systems, inspection procedures, and technical documentation.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 and relevant industry standards.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Strong analytical, communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant engineering software.
• Relevant certifications and local approvals, if applicable, are an advantage.
