QA/QC Engineer

We are seeking a detail-oriented QA/QC Engineer / Field Inspector to inspect construction activities, verify compliance with approved drawings and technical specifications, and ensure that all work meets the required quality standards.

The candidate should have practical site experience in construction inspection, quality control, documentation, and coordination with site execution teams. Experience in industrial buildings, foundations, RCC works, steel structures, LGS structures, PEB sheds, roofing, and cladding will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine site inspections to verify construction quality and compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Inspect civil and structural activities, including excavation, foundations, reinforcement, concrete works, masonry, and finishing.
• Inspect steel structures, LGS framing, PEB sheds, bolted connections, welding, roofing, and cladding, where applicable.
• Verify construction materials against approved specifications, material submittals, and relevant standards.
• Ensure that inspection requests, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), checklists, and quality records are properly maintained.
• Coordinate inspections and testing with project managers, site engineers, consultants, clients, and third-party inspectors.
• Monitor concrete sampling, slump tests, compressive strength tests, and other applicable material testing activities.
• Identify non-conformities, report defective work, and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure that work is not concealed or covered before required inspections and approvals.
• Maintain inspection reports, test records, material approvals, NCRs, and quality documentation.
• Verify that construction activities comply with approved method statements, quality procedures, and project requirements.
• Conduct regular field visits and report quality issues, deviations, and inspection findings to management.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 3 years of relevant construction QA/QC or field inspection experience.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings, technical specifications, and quality inspection procedures.
• Practical knowledge of ITPs, inspection checklists, material testing, and NCR management.
• Experience in civil and structural inspections; exposure to steel structures and PEB/LGS construction is preferred.
• Ability to identify construction defects and recommend appropriate corrective measures.
• Good documentation, reporting, coordination, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of applicable construction standards, testing procedures, and HSE requirements.
• Willingness to work at SITE (Reko Diq, Balochistan).

Pay: Rs100,000.00 - Rs200,000.00 per month
