QAQC Engineer (Limbang)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced QAQC Engineer to join our project team for the Limbang Airport Extension Project. The successful candidate will oversee quality assurance and quality control activities and ensure that all construction works meet approved drawings, technical specifications, quality standards and project requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and monitor QA/QC procedures and the project Quality Plan.
• Conduct regular inspections of construction activities and workmanship.
• Ensure construction works comply with approved drawings, specifications and quality requirements.
• Prepare and maintain Inspection and Test Plans (ITP), inspection requests and quality records.
• Coordinate material inspections, testing and quality verification.
• Identify non-conformities and monitor corrective actions until closure.
• Review relevant method statements, material submissions and quality documentation.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors and project teams on quality matters.
• Prepare inspection reports, quality reports and other required documentation.
• Assist with testing, commissioning and preparation of project handover documents.

About you

• Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field.

• Minimum 5 years of relevant QA/QC experience in construction.

• Good knowledge of construction quality standards and technical documentation.

• Strong attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Good communication and coordination skills.

• Willing to be located in Limbang, Sarawak.
