Job Title: QA/QC Engineer – Marine Construction

Job Description:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly skilled QA/QC Engineer to support quality assurance and quality control activities for marine construction and floating structure projects. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements while maintaining consistent quality across all project phases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement, manage, and monitor QA/QC systems for marine construction and floating structure works.
• Inspect raw materials, prefabricated components, welding activities, protective coatings, and buoyancy systems to ensure compliance with approved standards.
• Prepare, review, and update Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements, and other quality-related documentation.
• Coordinate with third-party inspection agencies, consultants, and classification bodies for required inspections and approvals.
• Ensure strict adherence to ISO standards and marine industry QA/QC requirements.
• Lead and participate in internal quality audits; verify non-conformities and ensure corrective and preventive actions are effectively implemented.
• Maintain accurate quality records and prepare final handover documentation, including complete QA/QC dossiers.
• Provide technical support to site teams to resolve quality issues and ensure continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Marine, Civil, or related engineering field.
• Minimum 3–7 years of QA/QC experience, preferably in marine or offshore construction.
• Strong knowledge of welding standards, coating systems, fabrication, and marine construction processes.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 and marine classification requirements.
• Excellent documentation, coordination, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in fast-paced project environments.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED10,000.00 - AED15,000.00 per month
