Job Overview

We are looking for a QA/QC Engineer with hands-on experience in Electrical QA/QC and Cathodic Protection (CP) systems. The candidate will be responsible for inspection, testing, documentation, and quality control of Cathodic Protection systems and associated electrical works. Candidates from IT/Software QA, Software Testing, Manual Testing, Automation Testing, or IT Quality Assurance backgrounds are NOT relevant for this position.

Key Responsibilities

* Carry out QA/QC inspection of Cathodic Protection systems and electrical installations.

* Inspect CP system installation work as per approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.

* Verify installation of CP equipment, cables, junction boxes, test stations, anodes, rectifiers, and associated components.

* Conduct and document electrical testing and inspection activities related to CP systems.

* Check cable laying, termination, connections, earthing, polarity, and electrical continuity.

* Verify materials and equipment against approved specifications and quality requirements.

* Review electrical/CP drawings, inspection procedures, method statements, and ITPs.

* Prepare and maintain Inspection Reports, Checklists, Test Reports, and QA/QC documentation.

* Identify non-conformities and coordinate corrective actions with the site/project team.

* Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal engineering teams during inspections.

* Ensure all electrical and CP activities are completed in accordance with applicable specifications and quality standards.

* Maintain proper records of inspection and testing activities for project documentation and handover.

Required Skills & Experience

* 2+ years of experience in Electrical QA/QC.

* Experience in Cathodic Protection (CP) systems is strongly preferred/required.

* Practical understanding of electrical installation, inspection, and testing.

* Knowledge of Cathodic Protection system components and installation practices.

* Ability to read and understand Electrical and CP drawings.

* Knowledge of inspection procedures, ITPs, checklists, and quality documentation.

* Familiarity with electrical testing equipment and basic electrical testing procedures.

* Good knowledge of MS Office, particularly MS Excel and Word, for documentation.

* Good communication and coordination skills.

* Willingness to work at project/site locations when required.
