QAQC Engineer (Protege)

• Assist the QAQC team in monitoring and ensuring construction works comply with project specifications, drawings, standards and quality requirements.
• Conduct regular site inspections and monitor the quality of ongoing works.
• Assist in checking materials, workmanship and completed works to ensure compliance with approved specifications.
• Assist in preparing Inspection and Test Plans (ITP), inspection checklists, inspection requests and other QAQC documentation.
• Coordinate with site engineers, subcontractors, consultants and other project personnel on quality related matters.
• Assist in arranging and monitoring material testing, site testing and inspection activities.
• Record and report quality issues, defects and non conformance identified at the project site.
• Assist in preparing Non-Conformance Reports (NCR), corrective action reports and follow up documentation where required.
• Maintain and update QAQC records, inspection reports, test results, method statements and other quality related documents.
• Assist in monitoring corrective and preventive actions to ensure identified quality issues are properly resolved.
• Participate in site meetings, quality inspections and coordination meetings when required.
• Ensure proper filing and maintenance of all QAQC documents for project records.
• Perform other duties related to quality control and project requirements as assigned by the management or QAQC Engineer.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Quality Management or a related field.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Basic understanding of construction processes, quality control and QAQC procedures.
• Familiarity with construction drawings, specifications and technical documentation is an advantage.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
• Good attention to detail and strong documentation skills.
• Responsible, organized, proactive and willing to learn.
• Able to work independently and as part of a project team.
• Willing to work at a project/site office and travel or relocate when required.
• Able to work in a construction site environment and perform site inspections when required.
• Knowledge of relevant construction standards and quality requirements will be an added advantage.
