QAQC Engineer (Solar piling experience mandatory)

Job Purpose
Ensure solar PV pile foundation works meet project specifications, tracker manufacturer tolerances and client/consultant requirements, from material receipt to final handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and implement the piling ITP, QC checklists and method statement reviews.
• Inspect incoming steel piles, including dimensions, mill certificates and galvanizing thickness, and reject non-conforming material.
• Inspect pile installation daily against tracker tolerances: position, plumbness, embedment depth, top-of-pile level and rotation.
• Plan and witness pile load tests (axial, tension and lateral) and compile the results.
• Raise MIRs, WIRs and NCRs, and track corrective actions to close-out.
• Coordinate with the client, consultant, survey team and tracker OEM on quality matters.
• Issue daily and weekly QA/QC reports and compile handover dossiers by block.

Must-Have Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 5+ years of QA/QC experience, including at least 3 years on solar PV piling works.
• Experience on utility-scale solar projects (100 MWp+), preferably with single-axis trackers.
• Hands-on experience with pile tolerance inspection and pile load testing.
• UAE/GCC project experience under consultant inspection regimes.
• Good written and spoken English.

Pay: From AED6,000.00 per month
