QA/QC Head

The QA/QC Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) systems throughout the construction phase. The role ensures that all construction activities, materials, and installations comply with project specifications, codes, standards, and contractual requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Quality Assurance (QA)

• Develop and implement the Quality Management Plan (QMP) for the project.
• Establish standard operating procedures (SOPs) for construction, inspection, and testing.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, industry codes, and international standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ASTM, ASME).
• Conduct audits of contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to verify adherence to QA procedures.

2. Quality Control (QC)

• Supervise inspection and testing of materials, equipment, and workmanship.
• Verify construction activities meet dimensional, material, and performance specifications.
• Review and approve inspection and test plans (ITPs) for all disciplines.
• Identify non-conformances, prepare NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports), and monitor corrective actions.

3. Documentation and Reporting

• Maintain accurate inspection, test, and quality documentation for all stages of construction.
• Prepare regular quality reports for project management.
• Ensure proper documentation is maintained for regulatory approvals, commissioning, and handover.

4. Coordination and Leadership

• Lead and manage the QA/QC team on site.
• Coordinate with project management, safety, engineering, and contractors to enforce quality standards.
• Conduct training sessions and toolbox talks on quality awareness.

5. Continuous Improvement

• Monitor quality performance metrics and identify recurring issues.
• Recommend and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Suggest process improvements to enhance construction quality and efficiency.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or relevant Engineering discipline.
• Must have a valid PRC License ID
• 5-10+ years of experience in construction QA/QC (preferably in infrastructure projects or Waste Water & Sewerage).
• In-depth knowledge of construction standards, codes, and specifications.
• Strong experience in inspection techniques, material testing, and quality audits.
• Proficiency in QA/QC software and MS Office.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.

Pay: Php50,000.00 - Php60,000.00 per month
