QA/QC Inspector (Civil)

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree

• Good command in English or Chinese.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word.

• Candidates with experience in QA/QC Inspector will be given special consideration.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

1.  Conduct inspections of civil and structural works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, Method Statements, and ITPs.

2.  Verify materials, reinforcement, formwork, embedded items, and survey setting-out prior to construction activities

3.  Perform pre-pour, in-process, and final inspections for excavation, foundations, concrete, backfilling, and structural works.

4.  Full fill Request for inspection(RFI) and maintain accurate quality records.

5.  Witness and verify site quality tests, including concrete, soil, and material testing, in accordance with project requirements.

6.  Identify non-conforming work, issue punch lists or NCRs, and verify corrective actions before work proceeds.

7.  Coordinate inspections with Construction, Survey, QA/QC Engineers, the Main Contractor, and Consultant/PMC.

8.  Ensure all works comply with the project's applicable standards, and contract requirements.

9.  Monitor daily quality performance and report inspection status, quality issues, and outstanding actions to the QA/QC Engineer.

10. Support project handover by ensuring all inspection records, test reports, and quality documentation are complete and properly filed.

Working Hours:

• Monday to Saturday, 08:00 AM – 05:30 PM
• Lunch Break: 12:00 PM – 01:30 PM (1.5 hours)
