Job Description

We are seeking a qualified and hands-on QA/QC Inspector to join our construction team for a high-rise building project in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting site inspections, monitoring construction quality, and ensuring that all works comply with approved drawings, project specifications, and applicable quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct daily site inspections to verify that construction activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, and quality requirements.
• Inspect civil, structural, architectural, or finishing works, depending on the assigned discipline.
• Verify that materials delivered to site comply with approved material submittals and project requirements.
• Coordinate with site engineers, subcontractors, and consultant inspectors during inspections.
• Prepare and submit Inspection Requests (IRs) and assist in the preparation of Material Inspection Requests (MIRs).
• Identify and report defective or non-compliant works to the QA/QC Engineer and construction team.
• Monitor corrective actions and follow up on the closure of inspection comments and quality observations.
• Maintain inspection records, checklists, and other quality-related documentation.
• Ensure that approved method statements and Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) are followed during site execution.
• Assist in resolving quality issues and preventing recurring construction defects.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of QA/QC inspection experience in building construction.
• Experience in high-rise building projects is preferred.
• Previous experience working with a main contractor is an advantage.
• Good understanding of construction drawings, specifications, inspection procedures, and quality standards.
• Familiarity with site inspection documentation and consultant coordination.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify construction defects.
• Good communication and reporting skills.
• Candidates currently residing in the UAE with immediate availability are preferred.
