QA/QC Inspector (Construction)

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced QA/QC Inspector to ensure civil works are carried out in line with approved drawings, specifications, and the quality requirements of the main contractor and consultant.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and implement ITPs, method statements, and material submittals (MARs).
• Raise and follow up Requests for Inspection (RFIs) with the main contractor and consultant.
• Inspect civil works: setting out, excavation, formwork, rebar, concrete, blockwork, waterproofing, and finishes.
• Supervise concrete sampling and testing, and review lab results.
• Raise, respond to, and close NCRs and site observations.
• Maintain inspection records, test registers, and QA/QC handover documentation.
• Coordinate daily with the main contractor’s QC team, the consultant, and site teams.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of QA/QC experience in the UAE in civil/building construction.
• Experience working as a subcontractor or main contractor.
• Proven experience coordinating with main contractors, subcontractors, and consultants or any of these.
• Strong knowledge of ITPs, RFIs, NCRs, and material approval procedures.
• Familiarity with Abu Dhabi regulations and relevant standards (BS, ASTM, ACI).
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
• Good English and report writing skills; proficient in MS Office.

Pay: From AED7,000.00 per month
