As part of our expanding international portfolio, we are seeking an Interior Design QA/QC professional to join our team for a project based in Benghazi, Libya.

Role purpose

As Interior Design QA/QC, you will oversee and safeguard quality standards across finishing works and FF&E delivery throughout the project lifecycle. Acting as a key link between the project management team, consultants, contractors and the client, you will ensure that all interior works comply with contractual requirements, technical specifications and professional standards.

You will support quality planning, supervision and close-out processes, ensuring high-quality project outcomes aligned with programme, cost and compliance objectives.

Key responsibilities

Quality Control & Site Supervision

• Oversee quality control of finishing works and FF&E prior to delivery and installation.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with contract documents, professional standards, health and safety requirements and codes of practice.
• Coordinate snagging, inspection, testing and handover procedures with consultants and contractors.

Coordination & Compliance

• Coordinate with architects, engineers, designers and contractors to ensure QA/QC compliance across all disciplines.
• Monitor contractor adherence to contractual obligations related to quality and documentation.
• Identify and resolve quality issues, discrepancies and coordination conflicts proactively.

Planning & Reporting

• Support the Senior Project Manager in developing and implementing QA/QC project plans.
• Track quality milestones, critical paths and project dependencies.
• Prepare progress reports and maintain structured quality documentation.
• Ensure all project documentation is properly saved, updated and managed in company systems.

Client & Stakeholder Interface

• Act as a direct liaison between the project team and the client.
• Ensure quality assurance is validated through continuous monitoring and timely rectification of issues.

What you bring

• Qualification in Interior Design (advanced diploma or recognised equivalent).
• Proven experience in interior finishing works and QA/QC within hospitality and residential projects.
• Strong understanding of construction standards, finishing quality control and site supervision processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; working knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD is required. Additional software such as SketchUp, InDesign and Photoshop is an asset.
• Strong attention to detail and structured approach to inspections and documentation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage.
• Ability to work within multidisciplinary teams under demanding project timelines.
