QA/QC Manager

We are seeking an experienced and energetic QA/QC manager to our team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 10-15 years of construction experience, including substantial experience in piling, deep foundations, and geotechnical works.
• Proven experience in a QA/QC leadership role within a foundation contracting or specialist geotechnical contractor environment.
• Strong knowledge of piling, grouting, diaphragm walls, shoring systems, soil improvement techniques, and associated testing requirements.
• Thorough understanding of concrete technology, foundation testing, inspection processes, and quality documentation.
• Extensive knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems and quality auditing practices.
• Experience working with major consultants, developers, and infrastructure projects in the UAE and GCC region is preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proactive, practical, and solution-oriented approach with a focus on continuous improvement and team development.
• Excellent report writing and analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all QA/QC activities for piling, shoring, soil improvement, and geotechnical construction projects.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, client requirements, applicable standards, and company quality procedures.
• Maintain, review, and continuously improve the company's ISO-certified Quality Management System.
• Develop and implement Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), quality procedures, method statements, and quality records.
• Monitor site quality performance through inspections, audits, testing programs, and corrective actions.
• Manage concrete quality control, piling records, integrity testing, load testing, and foundation-related quality documentation.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, project teams, and third-party testing agencies on quality matters.
• Analyze quality trends and identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency.
• Lead, mentor, and develop QA/QC engineers and inspectors to promote a culture of quality excellence.
• Support project teams in achieving quality objectives while maintaining schedule and operational requirements.
• Ensure lessons learned and best practices are effectively implemented across projects.

Preferred Attributes

• Lead Auditor certification (ISO 9001) is an advantage.
• Membership in a recognized professional engineering institution is desirable.
• Experience managing QA/QC teams across multiple projects and locations.
