QAQC Manager

About the role

Lead and manage the overall QA/QC activities for large-scale construction projects, including the establishment and implementation of the Project Quality Management System.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage Quality Plans, Method Statements and relevant quality procedures
• Ensure construction works comply with approved drawings, specifications, Singapore Standards and project quality requirements
• Conduct site quality inspections and audits
• Monitor the quality performance of subcontractors, suppliers, materials and construction works
• Coordinate inspection and testing activities for Structural, Architectural, Concrete and M&E works
• Coordinate with Clients, Consultants, Subcontractors and project teams to resolve quality and technical issues
• Manage QA/QC documentation, inspection records, test reports, material approvals and quality reports
• Support Testing & Commissioning, Defects Rectification and Handover activities

About you

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quality Management or a related discipline
• Minimum 5 years of relevant QA/QC experience in the construction industry, preferably with experience in large-scale building projects
• Familiar with quality inspection requirements for Structural, Architectural, Concrete and M&E works
• Good knowledge of Singapore Standards, Codes of Practice and construction quality requirements
• Main Contractor experience will be an advantage
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, CONQUAS / CORENET, or relevant quality certifications will be an advantage
• Strong leadership, communication, coordination and problem-solving skills, with the ability to independently manage project quality matters
