QA/QC Manager

About the Role

We're seeking an experienced QA/QC Manager to build and lead quality systems across our data center and mission-critical infrastructure projects. This is a strategic role—you'll establish quality standards, implement inspection protocols, and drive compliance across multiple concurrent projects ranging from $50M to $200M+.

You'll report directly to senior project leadership and manage a team of quality inspectors and technicians. Your work directly impacts project reputation, client satisfaction, and profitability.

What You'll Do

• Develop and implement comprehensive QA/QC plans aligned with project specifications, codes, and client requirements
• Lead a team of 3–8 quality inspectors and technicians across multiple active projects
• Conduct field inspections, testing, and documentation for structural, mechanical, electrical, and systems work
• Review submittals, shop drawings, and material certifications for compliance
• Manage deficiency tracking, corrective actions, and punch-list closeout
• Coordinate with project management, trade partners, and design teams to resolve quality issues in real time
• Maintain detailed QA/QC records, reports, and metrics for leadership review
• Champion continuous improvement in inspection processes and quality culture
• Ensure compliance with building codes, industry standards, and contractual requirements

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of QA/QC experience in commercial construction, data center, or industrial projects
• Proven track record managing quality on large, complex projects ($50M+)
• Hands-on expertise with data center systems (cooling, power, infrastructure), mechanical/electrical systems, and critical facility construction
• Strong knowledge of building codes (IBC, NFPA, NEC) and industry standards (ANSI, ASHRAE, Uptime Institute)
• Leadership experience managing QA/QC teams in fast-paced environments
• Proficiency with QA/QC software and documentation systems
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• CMAA, ASQ, or DBIA certification a plus
• Current driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites
