QA/QC Manager | Electrical Construction

Our client, a growing leader in electrical construction, is seeking an experienced QA/QC Manager to oversee quality assurance and quality control processes across multiple projects. This role is critical in ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality, safety, compliance, and client expectations.

The successful candidate will lead project quality initiatives, support continuous improvement efforts, and help ensure that all project deliverables meet contractual, regulatory, and industry requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all environmental, health, and safety programs and regulations.
• Develop, implement, and maintain project QA/QC plans and procedures.
• Monitor construction and production activities to verify compliance with project specifications, codes, and contractual requirements.
• Conduct routine site inspections, audits, and quality assessments.
• Document inspection findings and prepare detailed reports for stakeholders.
• Maintain and control quality documentation, procedures, manuals, records, and forms.
• Establish and implement inspection criteria, testing procedures, and corrective action processes.
• Investigate quality-related issues, customer concerns, and non-conformance reports, implementing corrective measures as required.
• Verify that equipment, materials, and installations meet applicable industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with project teams to identify opportunities for quality improvement and process optimization.
• Support project managers, field personnel, and leadership teams in achieving quality and safety objectives.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a QA/QC management role within electrical construction, industrial construction, engineering, manufacturing, or a related industry.
• Strong knowledge of quality assurance principles, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience conducting inspections, audits, and quality investigations.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
• Excellent organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Valid driver's licence and ability to travel to project sites as needed.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Ability to work extended hours when project demands require.
• Ability to work in varying outdoor and environmental conditions.
• Must be able to successfully complete applicable pre-employment screening requirements.
