QAQC SUPERVISOR

About the role

As a Quality Control, you will perform quality control testing on raw materials, ready-mixed concrete, precast concrete products and reworks to ensure relevant specifications are complied with.

Key responsibilities

• Responsible for incoming / outgoing inspection of raw materials and precast concrete products and all Non-Conformance.
• Control and monitor product and material quality during pre and post production.
• Establish and maintain calibration program for critical concrete and rebar testing and measuring instrument.
• Prepare and maintain all related quality reports and records.
• Liaise with the client, consultant, vendors, sub-contractors and other relevant parties on field / factory inspection issues pertaining to the quality issues.
• Attend required interdepartmental meetings including providing relevant updates on the status of QC testing and to obtain and relay information which may impact the testing schedule.
• Act as the key point of contact for testing requests and samples received internally.
• Act as the QC representative for regulatory or third part inspections.
• Issue QC metrics for internal tiered meetings including quarterly QC business review meetings with management.
• Train, coach and mentor staff whilst supporting QC Training Coordinator and QC training requirements.

About you

• Minimum Diploma in Civil, Building or Construction Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in Quality management in ready-mixed concrete or precast concrete industry.
• Able to multi-task, work independently, proactive with positive attitude.
• Able to work shift work pattern.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 will be an advantage.
• Those who do not have a Diploma but have a minimum of 5-years' experience are welcome to apply.
