QA/QC Welding Inspector

Inspect welds and welding processes to ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards (e.g., AWS, ASME, API). Use various inspection methods such as visual inspection, ultrasonic testing (UT), radiographic testing (RT), and magnetic particle testing (MT). Maintain detailed records of inspections, including reports, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and corrective action reports. Ensure all documentation is accurate and up-to-date for audits and quality reviews. Monitor welding procedures and practices to ensure they adhere to established quality standards. Conduct audits and assessments of welding practices and procedures.

Desired Candidate Profile

CCS (Client) approval need. High School graduate, or equivalent; minimum five (5) years experience in oil, gas and petrochemical plants of which at least three (3) in his inspection discipline. Certified by international recognized body. (CWI, CSWIP, etc.)
