Hours: Up to 20 hours per week; additional hours can be requested and approved in writing.
Pay: Hourly rate varies based on experience and can be negotiated during the interview.

About the Internship

Qbitech is seeking a Development Intern(s) to contribute to the development of proprietary software focused on operational and mission assurance across commercial and Department of War use cases.

This internship provides hands-on experience building a real-world product while working alongside cybersecurity and software development professionals.

The Role

As a Development Intern, you will support the design, development, testing, and improvement of Qbitech's proprietary software platform. You will work closely with technical leads and other interns to:

• Develop and test software features and components.
• Support system monitoring, automation, and data collection capabilities.
• Research and evaluate technologies relevant to operational and mission assurance.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and contribute to system improvements.
• Document designs, development decisions, and technical findings.
• Participate in technical discussions, demonstrations, and regular team syncs.
• Contribute to defined development milestones and product releases.
• Develop custom AI agents and workflows.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, Data Analytics, or a related technical field.
• Strong interest in software development, systems engineering, AI/ML, cybersecurity, or related technologies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a technical team.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and solve unfamiliar technical problems.
