Qc Agent (Aircon Environment)

About the role

E-CONTRACT PTE. LTD. is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented QC Agent (Aircon Environment) to join our Quality Assurance & Control team. This is a full-time position based in the Boon Lay West Region. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all products and processes meet our stringent quality standards within a controlled, air-conditioned environment. You will play a crucial part in maintaining our commitment to excellence and safeguarding customer satisfaction through meticulous quality control procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive quality inspections and tests on products in accordance with established quality standards and specifications
• Monitor and document all quality control activities, maintaining accurate records and generating detailed reports
• Identify defects, non-conformities and deviations from quality standards, taking prompt corrective action as required
• Perform sampling inspections and statistical analysis to ensure consistent product quality
• Operate and maintain quality control equipment and testing instruments in the air-conditioned facility
• Collaborate with production and manufacturing teams to communicate quality findings and implement improvements
• Assist in developing and refining quality control procedures and work instructions
• Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and evidence of quality compliance
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at reducing defects and enhancing product quality

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in quality control, quality assurance or a similar role within manufacturing or logistics environments
• Strong knowledge of quality control standards, methodologies and best practices relevant to manufacturing
• Proficiency in using quality control equipment, measurement tools and testing instruments
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify minor defects and inconsistencies
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications and quality documentation
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying root causes
• Good communication skills with the ability to document findings clearly and collaborate effectively with team members
• Reliability and strong work ethic with the capacity to work diligently in a controlled environment
• Familiarity with quality management systems (such as ISO 9001) is advantageous
• Basic computer literacy and experience with data entry and record-keeping systems
