QC Analyst

About the Role

We are looking for a QC Analyst to perform laboratory testing and analysis of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications. You will support production operations by providing accurate test results, maintaining laboratory equipment, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the Quality Department. This role is ideal for candidates with a passion for quality, analytical work, and problem-solving in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Laboratory Analysis & Testing

• Perform testing and analysis of raw materials, in-process samples, finished products, and wastewater samples according to established test methods.
• Record, verify, and report analytical results accurately and promptly.
• Provide timely feedback on testing results to Production, Supply Chain, and relevant departments.
• Support investigation of abnormal test results and quality issues.

Laboratory Equipment Management

• Conduct routine maintenance, calibration, verification, and troubleshooting of laboratory instruments and analytical equipment.
• Ensure laboratory equipment operates effectively and complies with quality requirements.
• Maintain proper records of equipment maintenance and calibration activities.

Chemical & Reagent Management

• Manage laboratory chemicals, reagents, consumables, and reference materials.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure proper storage and handling practices.

Quality Documentation & Product Release

• Prepare Certificates of Analysis (COA) and related quality documents.
• Support product release activities, labeling verification, and shipment inspection.
• Maintain accurate laboratory records in compliance with QEHS and quality management systems.

Quality System & Continuous Improvement

• Participate in laboratory measurement system analysis and quality improvement projects.
• Support Lean Manufacturing initiatives, including 7S, Kaizen, cost reduction, and process optimization activities.
• Contribute ideas and recommendations to improve laboratory efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in laboratory testing, quality control, analytical testing, or quality assurance within a manufacturing environment.
• Candidates with experience in chemical manufacturing, specialty chemicals, lithium battery materials, or electrolyte production industries will have an added advantage.
• Knowledge of chemical analysis principles, laboratory testing methodologies, and quality control practices.
• Hands-on experience operating and maintaining analytical instruments such as: Gas Chromatography (GC), Liquid Chromatography (LC/HPLC), ICP-OES / ICP-MS, Titrators, moisture analyzers, pH meters, and other laboratory equipment
• Ability to interpret analytical results, investigate abnormalities, and prepare accurate testing reports.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.
• Good documentation and report-writing capabilities.
• Proficient in English and Chinese are highly preferred to facilitate effective communication with China headquarters, technical teams, and Chinese-speaking stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Willing to work in a manufacturing and laboratory environment while adhering to safety, quality, and environmental standards.
• Fresh graduates with strong academic performance, laboratory exposure, and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
