Role & responsibilities

Conduct rigorous lab testing using established analytical methods to verify product quality and safety at every production stage. Perform sensory evaluations (nosing, tasting, panel assessments) to maintain and enhance flavour profiles and batch-to-batch consistency. Support new product development (NPD) initiatives with technical insight, formulation guidance, and quality assurance. Partner closely with the production team to monitor manufacturing processes and drive continuous improvement. Maintain accurate, audit-ready documentation and ensure compliance with ISO, HACCP, and other applicable industry standards and regulations.

Preferred candidate profile

Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, Biochemistry, or a related field. Additional certifications in Distillation, Blending, or Beverage Innovation strongly preferred. 510 years of QC/QA experience within a distillery or beverage manufacturing environment. Hands-on expertise in lab testing, blend preparation, sensory evaluation, and NPD. Proven, specific experience working with alcoholic beverages (spirits) is essential — candidates without spirits-industry background will not be considered.
