QC Asisstant

Responsibilities

• Conduct incoming raw material, in-process, and finished product inspections.
• Check raw materials and products to ensure compliance with quality and food safety standards.
• Prepare and issue dry ingredients and spices according to production requirements.
• Monitor inventory levels of dry ingredients and spices and arrange replenishment when stock is low.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, ingredients usage, and stock movements.
• Ensure proper storage, handling, labelling, and cleanliness of raw materials and ingredients.
• Update process flow charts, work instructions, and other relevant QC documents.
• Report quality issues, non-conformities, or discrepancies to the superior.
• Assist in maintaining GMP, HACCP, and food safety standards within the production area.
• Support the QC team in audits, investigations, and other quality-related activities when required.

Requirements

• Minimum SPM, Diploma, or Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Science, or a related field.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; experience in QC/QA or food manufacturing is an added advantage.
• Basic knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and food safety practices.
• Good attention to detail and accurate record-keeping skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to work in a food manufacturing/production environment.
• Able to perform routine inspections and handle ingredients as required.

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,300.00 per month
