QC ASSISTANT

• To assists head of department in managing and monitoring all aspect.
• Coordination with quality inspections with all the site sub-contractors and vendors coordinate all non-destructive testing on site.
• Coordinate with the customers’ representative on all quality matters.
• Verify that the quality related site activities are in accordance with the applicable codes standards.
• Complete site quality control instructions and action remedial responses.
• Coordinate with the site manager on all quality issues coordinate.
• Elaborating material inspection and test programs.
• Ensure the safety is adhered to at site.
• Assure all technical documents relative to site quality control are current status.
• Ensure all the communication navigation and safety equipment are up to standard of each class and marine department requirement.
• Ensure standard of each class and marine request all fitted in the right place accordingly to the ship safety plan.
• To ensure the ship pass all the requests of class survey on both commercialize and yard trial.
• To ensure all part book, manual, warranty card, mill certificate are in order and always file a copy for the buyer, buyer office, and QC office.

Competency Requirements

• Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Preferably 1 years of working experience in the related field.
• Preferably Junior Executives specializing in Quality Control/Assurance or equivalent. Job role in Quality Control /Assurance or equivalent.
• An understanding of Material Components and Classification Society Rule Book.
