QC Assistant

About the role

This role combines quality control and administrative responsibilities. You will assist in daily quality control inspections and product quality checks, monitor product quality to ensure compliance with company standards and specifications, and maintain QC inspection results and documentation. You will also perform general administrative and clerical duties, including preparing and maintaining documents, reports and filing systems, handling data entry, and assisting with daily office operations.

Key responsibilities

Quality Control (QC)

• Assist in daily quality control inspections and product quality checks
• Monitor product quality to ensure compliance with company standards and specifications
• Record and maintain QC inspection results, reports and related documentation
• Report quality issues and assist in corrective actions when necessary
• Ensure proper filing and maintenance of QC records

Administration

• Perform general administrative and clerical duties
• Prepare, update and maintain documents, reports and filing systems
• Handle data entry and maintain accurate records
• Assist with daily office operations and other administrative tasks as assigned
• Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure smooth daily operations

Job Requirements

• Male candidates preffered
• Minimum diploma in engineering/science/science computer
• Basic computer skills, especially Microsoft Word and Excel
• Good communication, organizational and time-management skills
• Responsible and able to work independently
• Willing to learn and work as part of a team
• Previous experience in QC or administration is an added advantage
• Knowledge of AutoCAD will be an added advantage.
