QC Chemist

Requirements:

1. Minimum 2-3 years laboratory experience.

2. Bachelor's degree related to chemistry, biochemistry or any science related course.

3. Laboratory or analytical knowledge and skills.

General Job Description of Role & Responsibilities:

1. Report to Senior Chemist / Superior on all quality control related matters.

2. Ensure all testing activities comply with GMP, GLP, GDP, ISO 13485, ISO 9001, MS ISO/IEC 17025, and other regulatory requirements.

3. Act as Compliance/Documentation Executive for MS ISO/IEC 17025 matters and liaise with Laboratory Quality Manager / Deputy.

4. Perform and oversee inspection, sampling, testing, and timely release of raw materials and finished products.

5. Ensure calibration, maintenance, and proper functioning of all laboratory equipment and analytical instruments.

6. Manage laboratory standards, chemicals, solvents, consumables, and related inventory.

7. Supervise daily laboratory operations and ensure smooth workflow.

8. Train, guide, and monitor subordinates to ensure competency and performance efficiency.

9. Develop, review, and update test methods, specifications, and laboratory documentation in line with current practices.

10. Ensure all documentation, including test methods and calibration procedures, are accurate, updated, and compliant.

11. Assist in interdepartmental coordination and laboratory investigations (e.g., OOS results, lab incidents) including reporting and corrective actions.

12. Ensure cleanliness, safety, and adherence to good laboratory and hygiene practices at all times.

Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
