QC Chemist

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented QC Chemist to join our team at an industrial site in Dahej, Gujarat. The candidate will be responsible for laboratory testing, water quality analysis, sample testing, and maintaining quality standards as per company requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine laboratory testing and chemical analysis of water and process samples.
• Conduct testing of pH, conductivity, TDS, COD, and BOD.
• Monitor the quality of DM water, cooling water, boiler water, and process water, as applicable.
• Support quality testing related to ETP and utility operations.
• Operate and maintain laboratory instruments as per standard procedures.
• Maintain laboratory records, test reports, and quality documentation.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), safety guidelines, and quality standards.
• Ensure accurate reporting of test results and timely completion of assigned tasks.
• Coordinate with the operations team to address quality-related issues.

Required Skills

• Basic knowledge of chemical analysis and laboratory testing.
• Practical experience with pH meters, conductivity meters, and TDS meters.
• Knowledge of COD and BOD testing methods.
• Understanding of water treatment processes and industrial utilities.
• Good documentation and analytical skills.
• Ability to work at an industrial site and follow safety procedures.

Eligibility Criteria

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Chemistry.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in QC laboratory testing, water treatment, ETP, or industrial utilities.
• Candidates with relevant hands-on laboratory experience will be preferred.
• Immediate joiners are preferred.
