QC Engineer

About the role

Agon Pacific Co., Ltd. is seeking a QC Engineer to join our team at our Ban Chang Rayong facility. This is a full-time position that plays a critical role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our mechanical engineering products. As QC Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining rigorous quality control processes that safeguard our manufacturing standards and protect our reputation in the marketplace. This position is essential to our commitment to delivering excellence and meeting the expectations of our clients and stakeholders.

What you'll be doing

• Conducting comprehensive inspections and testing of mechanical components and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications
• Developing and implementing quality control procedures, checklists and documentation systems
• Analysing test data and quality metrics to identify trends, defects and areas for improvement
• Collaborating with production and engineering teams to investigate quality issues and implement corrective actions
• Maintaining detailed records of quality assurance activities, inspection results and non-conformance reports
• Performing calibration and maintenance of quality control equipment and testing instruments
• Conducting regular audits of manufacturing processes to verify adherence to quality standards
• Reporting quality performance metrics and providing recommendations for continuous improvement
• Liaising with suppliers to ensure incoming materials meet specified quality requirements

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline, or equivalent professional qualification
• Minimum 0-2 years of professional experience in quality control or quality assurance within manufacturing or mechanical engineering environments
• Strong knowledge of quality control methodologies, standards and practices, including familiarity with ISO 9001 or similar quality management systems
• Proficiency in using quality control equipment, testing instruments and measurement tools
• Experience with statistical analysis tools and quality management software
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical specifications and drawings
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to document findings clearly and communicate effectively across teams
• Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving quality issues
• Familiarity with mechanical engineering processes and manufacturing operations
• Preferred: Experience with Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing or similar continuous improvement methodologies
