Job Description – Engineer - Quality Control (QC)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform in-house and outsourcing inspection activities and maintain inspection records.
• Carry out structural fabrication inspections to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications.
• Perform fit-up, final, visual, and weld visual inspections.
• Coordinate and support NDT inspection activities.
• Verify fabricated components against approved drawings, quality standards, and customer requirements.
• Prepare and maintain inspection reports and quality documentation.
• Coordinate with production, outsourcing vendors, and other departments to resolve quality issues.
• Support quality improvement initiatives to improve product quality and delivery performance.

Requirements

• Diploma or B.E. in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Quality Control within the fabrication industry.
• Knowledge of fit-up, final, visual, weld visual, and NDT inspection.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, and PDF documentation.
• Basic communication skills and willingness to coordinate with internal teams and vendors.
• Ability to maintain inspection records and prepare quality reports.
• Must know two-wheeler driving.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
