QC Engineer

General Job Statement: Responsible for ensuring that the Contract Works are executed in accordance with the requirements of the Contract drawings, Specifications and good
to the Project Manager. At the site, he reports administratively, as a staff to the Construction Manager.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Familiarization with the Contract scope of works , drawings, and Specification of the construction materials for the project.

2. Gathering samples of materials for testing and responsible for the testing of said materials, as required.

3. Monitoring and reporting of test results.

4. Inspection of the quality of materials delivered to the site to ensure conformance to the specifications and/or Purchase Order/s.

5. Inspection of work installations/erections by Field Operations to ensure compliance to the Contract drawings and Specifications

6. Inspection of the comments to the quality of the work/s done by the Subcontractors regarding compliance to the Contract drawings and Specifications and for the purpose of billing evaluation.

7. Periodic checking to ensure that the measurement and testing devices/equipment used at the works are in good operating condition and calibrated.

8. Maintain daily log of QC activities at the site (i.e. samples taken and/or tested and the results, works and/or materials inspected and the results, noted non-conformance works or materials, details of concreting activities etc.)

9. Reports on the non-conformance of works of materials and other notable QC related events, issues or problems to his superior.

10. Participates in the implementation of the Organization’s Environmental, Occupational Health and Safety Program.

11. Performs other duties that maybe assigned from time to time.

Pay: Php20,000.00 - Php25,000.00 per month
